This bug report was marked as Incomplete and has not had any updated comments for quite some time. I didnt get very far with those instructions. Windows is able to use the card fine so I also know it works. You are not directly subscribed to this bug’s notifications. It would help us a lot if you could test the current Ubuntu development version

I bought a Netgear pcmcia card GA I having troubles with the upload and download speed of my PC card network adapter. I didnt get very far with those instructions. I am running 8. Im reading the ndsiwrapper steps not, but it appears that ‘make’ cannot be found since I cannot execute ‘make distclean’. Last edited by comprookie; at Comment on this change optional.

There have been many changes in Ubuntu since that time you reported the liux and your problem may have been fixed with some of the updates. As best I can tell, it uses a Realtek chipset.
