On boot up, it would BSOD. I think the manual isn’t clear enough on setting up a second RAID.

This is the one incidentally that I’ve sucessfully configured as the boot-up C: Any suggestion would be much appreciated. I checked on a few things. Does all this make sense to any one on TechSpot?

I had another delxue. What I’m expecting- since I’ve disconected the configured C: If it was up to me I probably wouldn’t update them because I beleive in the saying “Don’t fix it if it ain’t broke”. Only they know and I’ve been wondering that for months.
Its like one is for using during the F6 operation during the OS install, and the other you would install after Windows is installed. Don’t really want to reluxe the same OS twice. They will need to be put on a floppy correct?

PowerSlave Member Mar 9: I disconected the system disks, connected both new disks to the Intel connectors and booted up. Are p4c80-0e seeing the end of the road for the Windows NT kernel? This should be fairly straitforward and you can choose between RAID 0 and 1. Video doorbell without WiFi?

Asus does not indicate this and I’m still waiting for a response from their help-desk. RAID can be finickity at times, but then again there could be optimizations and fixes. I can’t live without my ghost images! There are no Intel drivers there because they havn’t been installed. All reads and writes to the hard drives in RAID 0 are much faster.
Having created the initial RAID 0 on the Promise chipset through installing the OS and using F6 to install the Promise drivers setting up the system disk was easy enough.
Keizer MVM Apr Your choices are either to backup your data and reinstall XP or to create an image of your current HD and save it somewhere else for use after the array is created.
